How Invisalign® straightens your teeth
A short look at the process, from your first scan to your finished smile.
Invisalign® is a series of crystal-clear aligners worn for a minimum of 22 hours per day. You remove them to eat, drink anything other than water, and to clean your teeth. You change to a new set every two weeks, and each set moves your teeth a little closer to your final smile.
Invisalign works through a series of laboratory-crafted aligners, each one shaped slightly closer to your ideal result. As your teeth move, you progress to the next set, until your smile is exactly where you want it.

Invisalign® fits around your life, but it works best with a few simple habits. We'll go through these with you when you start.
22 hours
Wear your aligners at least 22 hours a day. The more you wear them, the quicker treatment goes.
Water only
Take them out for anything but water. Tea and coffee will stain them.
Brush first
Clean your teeth after eating, before your aligners go back in.
